Final Images & Evaluation

The Peter Tavy Inn

These are my final images from The Peter Tavy Inn commission. Overall I am relatively happy with how they turned out, I believe I have managed to capture the essence of a warm, inviting gastro pub, situated in a lovely part of the countryside. My favourite image out of the eight will have to be the one just above of the garden, the reason for this is because I feel it is has the greatest composition and vibrancy. To me this image gives off a colourful, happy and inviting feeling to it, from the strength of the colours and use of line and form. When taking this image I wanted to use the lines of the benches to lead the viewer from the middle of the frame to the rest of the picture. Nonetheless, if I was going to shoot this again I would take it from a slightly lower angle to perfect the rule of thirds.

I am pleased with the range of images that I captured, however, I do intend on returning in order to take some pictures of customers being served and prepared food to finalise the series of images for their website.
